About the Founder & Brand
• Kashmir Saffron and Products (Brand name), bearing logo name “KSP”, was founded by Mr. Abhay Raina with the vision of providing genuine export quality products.
• The founder cum CEO is a Kashmiri Brahmin from Jammu and Kashmir, India. His vision is inclined towards supplying best & niche quality products to his customers at reasonable price which enriches trust and brand name apart from providing value more than a rupee for a rupee spent.
• He built a brand named KSP as he realised that most of the adulteration in market happens in consumables segment especially in certain segments which are of great utilization. Usually products which are expensive and valuable and / or beneficial for health are sold in market with adulteration, high cost & unethically.
• The best quality products which are organic by nature, original by content, healthy by profile etc. are usually exported Worldwide like the West with mediocre and low quality products being circulated in Indian market. While the Indian consumer purchasing parity along with the desire to go healthy and prefer value for every rupee spent keeping quality as prime focus has shot up and is growing at a very fast pace.
However, due to unavailability of quality products; traders / distributors either mix or supply lower quality items in the supply chain which the Indian consumer eventually buys.

Ancestral History
• The founder’s ancestors founded business named "New Kashmir Handicrafts" more than 50 year ago. Kashmiri Saffron, Pashmina Shawls, Handicrafts, Carpets etc. were the main highlights of the business. Deriving the name, expertise & 50 + year legacy of this business, Mr. Abhay Raina, saw an opportunity to pass this on to the public / customers on a large platform and at a large scale which would eliminate adulteration and disrupt the customer requirements, the founder created a portion and made KSP out of it.
